the villages iowa club

The Club has the following recurring events each month:
  • MONTHLY GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS:  The meetings are held the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Meetings are held at the Colony Cottage Recreation Center, 510 Colony Blvd, The Villages, FL. Meetings start at 6:30 PM and end no later than 9:00 PM. Doors open at 6:00 PM. During June-August, the Club's Executive Board may hold events at a different location based on that month's activity.
  • WOMEN'S MONTHLY LUNCHEONS:  The luncheons are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Location varies between restaurants within The Villages and restaurants in the surrounding area. During the summer, luncheons may be suspended if there are insufficient RSVPs for a specific luncheon date.
  • MONTHLY 9-HOLE GOLF SCRAMBLE:  Held on one or two of The Villages Executive Golf Courses (limit of 64 Club MEMBERS/month). The scrambles are held as follows:
    • September - November on the third SUNDAY of each month (to avoid conflict with viewing college football games)
    • December - August on the third SATURDAY of each month
  • MEN'S SUPER SECRET MEETINGS:  Typically held on the 4th Thursday of the month at a Country Club in the afternoon.
ALL events require Club members to register to attend the event.

    Cost to play is $1.00/person collected at the golf course. The Club will use the cash collected to award prizes (lowest score for the foursome/course, closest to the hole, longest drive, etc.) at the luncheon after you complete your round.

    IF both members of a HOUSEHOLD are going to play in the Golf Scramble, BOTH MEMBERS MUST BE REGISTERED FOR THE GOLF SCRAMBLE (either using their own Club profile (if each member has their own email address) or using the ADDITIONAL ATTENDEE button during one of the member's registration process). 


    Send an email to the Club IF you need assistance in how to register your other Household member.


    KEY NOTE:  To help ensure the Club gets a tee time reservation, the Club now includes multiple Executive golf courses NORTH of Co Rd 466 on the reservation request. Once the Club receives the tee time confirmation (on the Wednesday prior to the Scramble), you will receive notification of what time and golf course you will play.


    NOTES:

    • The Club limits the Monthly Golf Scramble registration to paid Club members (including the registration of one (1) Household member as a guest).
    • The Villages tee time reservation system only allows the Club to enter a maximum of 64 golfers between two (2) tee time reservations.
    • Once there are 64 registrations, you can continue to register. The registration process will add your name to the event's WAITLIST. The Club will use the WAITLIST, based on order of registration on the Waitlist, to fill in golfers IF there are any cancellations.
